Ours began in 2007, when we first met at HCL Technologies. As HR professionals navigating the fast-paced corporate world, we quickly discovered a shared passion for people, learning, and helping others grow. What started as a professional relationship soon became a lasting friendship, built on common values, mutual respect, and an unwavering belief in the power of human potential.

A few years later, in 2014, our journeys brought us both to London. While our careers evolved across different global organisations, industries, and leadership roles, one thing never changed. We remained deeply committed to developing people and creating workplaces where individuals could thrive.

Over the years, we gained experience across every stage of the employee lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Business Partnering, Talent Transformation, Employee Engagement, HR Operations, Coaching, Capability Building, and Leadership Development. Together, we bring more than 20 years of combined experience helping individuals, teams, and organisations unlock their potential.

But our story was never just about building careers.

For years, our conversations over coffee revolved around leadership, careers, workplace culture, the future of work, and the changing expectations of both employees and organisations. We often found ourselves asking the same question.

“Why are so many talented people still struggling to reach their full potential?”

Then came an autumn afternoon in 2022.

What began as another conversation became a defining moment. We realised we shared something much bigger than professional experience. We shared a purpose.

We wanted to create meaningful solutions that went beyond traditional HR practices. We wanted to empower individuals, strengthen organisations, and make a lasting impact on people’s lives.

That conversation became the foundation of People Element.

As we worked with businesses, professionals, graduates, and young talent, a clear pattern began to emerge.

Organisations were searching for future-ready talent, while students and graduates, despite being academically accomplished, often lacked the confidence, communication skills, leadership mindset, problem-solving ability, and workplace readiness needed to succeed in an increasingly dynamic world.

The gap wasn’t knowledge.

The gap was preparedness. 

We realised that qualifications alone were no longer enough. Success in  today’s workplace demands confidence, adaptability, emotional intelligence, communication, leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
